East Point Cautions
There are no lifeguards at East Point. You are responsible for bringing personal floatation devices for everyone in your party and for supervising your children at all times, especially in the lake, on the beach, and on the dock. You also need to observe safe boating practices when operating all waterecraft and especially be alert for other boat traffic around the point.
East Point is relatively remote and there is no phone at the Boathouse. In case of emergency you will need a cell phone to summon help and emergency services will be slow to arrive. Cell phone service has improved of late, but some carriers may have no coverage or spotty coverage on some parts of East Point.

We reserve the right to use the (natural) boat ramp next to the private dock to launch our own boats occaisionally.
